Weekly Photo Challenge: Sky

Lucy and the sky
All photos taken with a Nikon D90, June 2011 (Boracay, SLEX and South Mumbai)

Serendipity at the gas station, Caltex South

Lucy and the sky

Maggie, Milly, Molly and May came out to play

Regret. Should have kept my original ticket

Blue Green White

For you, a thousand times over

How to be alone

Lovers about to sail away

Bob, what do you see?

Sometimes, you need to look up

Where is Alice?

Let's build not burn

Flight

Lucy in the sky with diamonds by the Beatles

Picture yourself in a boat on a river
With tangerine trees and marmalade skies
Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly
A girl with kaleidoscope eyes

Cellophane flowers of yellow and green
Towering over your head
Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes
And she’s gone

Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain
Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies
Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers
That grow so incredibly high

Newpaper taxis appear on the shore
Waiting to take you away
Climb in the back with your head in the clouds
And you’re gone

Picture yourself on a train in a station
With plasticine porters with looking glass ties
Suddenly someone is there at the turnstyle
The girl with the kaleidoscope eyes

Lucy in the sky with diamonds

grateful slice:  the merciful sky, in whatever shade

Well, to answer your question I see a jigsaw puzzle :))
I love “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds”, though my favorite Beatles song is “Here Comes te Sun” 🙂
I like “Flight” the most from this set

🙂 thanks and are you back already? I loved loved loved The Imperfectionists. Loved the vignettes and his storytelling and character development were superb. Thanks for the recommendation. Total love.

Wow! That shot from Caltex is amazing! I like the shot of the bird too, though I might turn it around. Where is Alice is also cool!

I also like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, but my Beatles favorite may have to be Two of Us.
